Set at 80 BPM and layered with the aching tones of soprano and elder vocals, it’s a cry that transcends genre. Inspired by Matthew 2:18, this work is a modern-day echo of Rachel weeping for her children — for the unborn, the lost daughters, and the broken sons.

This is not a song for the flesh.
